Sweet and Spicy Roasted Pecans

I don't know whether you are in the Pee-can or the Pe-Cahn camp but either way I LOVE pecans (and btw I am in the Pee-can group!). Having these around as a go to snack is a must in my household. They are super easy to make and stay crispy, crunchy, salty, spicy and sweet for up to two weeks if they make it that long.

You can use the recipe with other nuts but the pecans hold onto the flavor really well because of the inherent cracks and crevices in the nut. Don't skimp on the sea salt as they off set the maple syrup nicely.

These nuts have a great amount of plant protein to sustain your energy through the day. Don't eat too many at a time though....just 6-7 nuts will do the trick as a serving size.
