Fruit Smoothie Bowl

You can eat it with a spoon or a straw.

This bowl is delicious and sooooo nutritious. There are so many different ways to make it that the opportunities are endless. Switch up the berries, change out the spinach for kale/arugula/chard, shift the seeds or add in nuts. Make the toppings a trail mix paradise...you could even add a few dark chocolate chips for your morning kick. 

Any way you slice it you are getting an immense amount of fiber, antioxidants and protein to help you start your day off right. 

Serves: 1

 

Ingredients:

1 banana, frozen

1 cup blueberries, frozen

½ cup fresh spinach

2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 tbsp chia seeds or pumpkin seeds

1 cup macadamia or almond milk, unsweetened

1 tbsp almond butter

Toppings: sliced almonds, chopped dates, chia seeds, toasted coconut flakes, kiwi, fresh berries

 

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender.

2. Blend until smooth. Place in a small bowl, add desired toppings, and enjoy!
